Support & Connectionadmin2023-02-03T11:10:25-05:00
We offer a wide variety of discussion and support programs to facilitate connection.
Men’s Discussion Group
Men meet weekly over coffee and cake to discuss current events and other topics of interest to the group.
The Women's Circle
This is a social discussion group where women come together and get to know one another by talking about issues of the day and other topics of interest to them.
Our Connections support groups focus on helping reduce isolation and cultivate connection. One group provides support for members as they share thoughts and feelings about life’s ongoing challenges in a safe and confidential environment. The other offers group members an experience in self discovery through learning, fun, and mutual support. Both groups are separate and facilitated by a licensed social worker.
This group meets once a week to knit hats, baby blankets, lap blankets, and bed spreads for donation to local organizations that help newborns, chemo patients, and veterans, among others. The group holds luncheons and birthday celebrations. No sign-up is required – just come. If your knitting skills are rusty, or you would like to learn how to knit or crochet, they are happy to teach you. Knitting supplies are also available.
