Information & Referral
Whether you’re looking for yourself, or someone you care for, the Center provides information and resources that can help.
Education, Advocacy
We provide seminars on important topics, such as advanced directives, fraud prevention, Medicare, in-home safety, and other issues that can impact older adults.
Resources, Information & Referrals
Social workers are available at the Center to help aging adults navigate through life’s transitions and get connected to community resources and referrals. We host the free AARP Tax-Aide Preparation program, the AARP Smart Driver refresher course annually, and have State Health Insurance Counseling Program (SHIP) volunteers who can help people understand Medicare benefits. We also maintain free information covering topics such as in-home care, funeral planning, assisted living, Alzheimer’s care, retirement communities, social services, and more.
